What happens before, during
and after the payment.
A payment link from your store and a PayPal account. The checkout shows the exact amount, currency and recipient. Customers send the payment themselves inside PayPal.
Use Friends & Family only. Select that payment type in PayPal before sending; do not use Goods & Services.
Platee confirms the payment after receiving and matching the PayPal payment notification. The checkout updates automatically. Clicking “I have paid” checks the status more often; it does not confirm the payment itself.
Attach the PayPal PDF receipt on your checkout page. Platee uses it to look for a corresponding payment notification. A matching transfer must cover at least 95% of the requested amount; overpayments are accepted. The PDF alone cannot confirm a payment.
The checkout shows “Payment confirmed”, notifies your store and returns the customer to the return page provided by the store. A manual return link is available as well.
